About the role:
The role involves operating pivot steer heavy machinery loaders, stacking loading/unloading logs in preparation for vessels.
Flexibility with working hours is required as there are a range of shifts required including working nights when vessels are loading.
Experience in a port environment and forestry experience would be advantageous, as well as an ability to operate log loading machinery, however training can be provided for the right candidate.
Essential requirements for the position are:
- Experience in operating pivot steer log loaders
- A minimum Class 2 licence with F endorsement
- A strong focus on Health and Safety
- An ability to work to deadlines
- Flexibility and reliability
- A positive approach towards teamwork
You may be required to demonstrate your abilities in the form of a practical pre-employment assessment as part of the selection process.
